Celebrate the magic of Yule with The Sacred Sisterhood. This sacred celebration symbolises the flickering light in the darkness, signifying the initiation of longer days incoming and the gradual return of warmth and light to the world.

Join us in London for a magical night of ritual, reflection, and empowerment in Sisterhood as we honour the Solstice, the stillness of the darkness and the rebirth of the sun. 

Embrace the warmth of an expanding sisterhood and kindle your inner light with beautiful practices designed to inspire dreaming, softness and supportive inner tending. 

The Flow:

1800 ARRIVAL

You will be greeted with a seasonal smoke cleanse of clary sage, cinnamon and rosemary to clear any unwanted energy to leave you feeling relaxed and present. Seasonal, herbal teas and snacks will be available upon arrival.

OPENING CIRCLE • CEREMONIAL CACAO • SOLSTICE RITUAL

We will open our circle with supportive sharing and drinking a warming and heart-opening elixir of ceremonial cacao infused with winter herbs and spices to welcome in the winter solstice. We will flow through a seasonal ritual to give thanks and honour the sacred turning of the great wheel. The solstice is a time to bring light into the darkness, you will be guided to centre into your own light of gratitude through the flickering candle flame and the support of your sisters.

SACRED SONG CIRCLE

Through our warmed hearts we will commune in the traditional, solstice practice of sharing seasonal song. through a guided vocal activation practice we will offer our thanks for the year passed and for our beautiful community, guiding in the light for 2024.

SOLSTICE SOUND BATH

More than anything, the winter solstice is a time of deep rest and reflection. You will be invited to rest your bones upon the earth as you are serenaded by the sweet and soulful sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums and voice.

2030 GROUNDING SHARING SNACKS

After the ceremony we will sit together and share herbal teas, grounding snacks and a warming seasonal soup. Please bring a bowl and stick around for community love and great chats!

FAQS

WHAT SHALL I WEAR?

please wear clothes that you feel comfortable and warm in.

if you'd like to wear something white to honour the solstice, that is also welcome.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Please bring along a bowl and a spoon if you would like to stay and share soup. Please also bring a chalice for ceremonial cacao, a drum or rattle if you have one and any sacred items to co-weave a beautiful solstice altar.

CAN I DRINK CEREMONIAL CACAO IF...

cacao is very safe and gentle. The higher doses can be inappropriate for those who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, have serious heart/autoimmune conditions or are taking SSRIs. We will also have a number of herbal tea blends available if cacao isn't appropriate for you at this time.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

As this is a private location in North London we will reveal more details about exact location closer to the time. There is little parking available but public trransport is abundant. The nearest tube stop is Finsbury Park.
